Over the last few weeks, you might have noticed a new name being thrown around in the world of lacrosse media ...Laxx.TV. With a tweet here and a status update there, we've kept pretty quiet while building and refining our web presence, but now we think it's time you got to know a little more about how we're changing the way you follow the game.
As you know, there are a number of great websites out there covering lacrosse; from the big boys at LaxPower and Inside Lacrosse to Lacrosse Magazine, LacrosseAllStars, InLaxWeTrust and a number of others. Couple that with your regular news consumption, Twitter and Facebook, and you've probably spent a solid 3 hours in front of the computer screen consuming information. We want to make that easier.
We believe Laxx.TV can be the launching pad for all of that information. We want to focus on you and what you think is worth reading, watching, discussing, sharing and why. We want our users to tell each other what is good. Doing this will allow you to get the best articles, videos and information the web has to offer.
In addition to all this, Laxx.TV has started a new discussion forum. These are non-traditional style forums, powered by our advanced search engine, which makes finding discussions you're interested in easier and more enlightening. It's simple: you want to talk about "Western Oregon Lacrosse 2012." Type "Western Oregon" into our search, and you will get all the results for which they are tagged. If you want to limit to videos, discussions, or by date, you can simply do that on the left hand side with our quick filters along with the tabs across the top.
Sound too good to be true? We know. We want it to be that way. Have questions or suggestions for us? We want to know about them. Email us at tv@laxx.tv. In the meantime, start perusing and let us know what you think. And, most of all: Enjoy! We will try to update this blog regularly with a variety of topics.
